How many Sprites are there in Fortnite?
There are 21 Sprites in the game right now, and 91 variants once you count every style separately. Both numbers come straight from the live catalogue on this page and change whenever Epic adds a drop.
How do you get Sprites?
Sprites are found in chests during a match. Picking one up is not enough — you have to extract while carrying it. Extract successfully and it is added to your collection permanently; die with it and you keep nothing.
Do variants have to be found separately?
Yes. Each style is its own find, in its own chest, with its own extraction. Owning the Base version of a Sprite gives you no progress at all toward its Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Holofoil or Cube version.
Which Sprite variant is the rarest?
Galaxy and Gummy sit at the bottom of the drop table, and Holofoil is scarce for a different reason — it arrived partway through the season, so it exists for only a fraction of the roster. Cube is rarer still by availability: only a handful of Sprites have one at all.
Can you trade Sprites?
Yes, and it is the realistic way to finish a collection — chasing one specific Galaxy variant through random chests can take a very long time. Sprite Catch shows you which collectors already own the variant you are hunting and lets you agree the trade in chat.

Do I need an account to use the tracker?
Not on the web. The browser tracker stores your collection locally and sends nothing to a server. If you later install the iPhone app, a transfer link moves your progress across without ever putting it online.
When do new Sprites come out?
Drops land on Thursdays. This site rebuilds against the catalogue after each one, and the app pushes a notification the moment new Sprites become catchable.

No. It is an unofficial fan project made under the Epic Games Fan Content Policy, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc.
